Monument Lake Resort is a 350-acre resort. The 100-acre lake is stocked with browns, cutthroats, rainbows, kokanee salmon, and splake. The resort is located on Highway 12 (Highway of Legends) 37 miles west of Trinidad, Colorado.

Guests also have access to nearby
North Lake State Wildlife Area
with fishing in the lakes and streams.

Guests must register all members in their party (all rates are for double occupancy); $8 charge for additional persons. Unregistered guests will be charged $20 and are subject to expulsion from the resort. This is deemed theft of services. The registered party is responsible for the charge.

Lodge room, 1 queen bed: 2 people, or 3 with added air mattress

Lodge room, 2 queen beds: 4 people

Cabin, 1 queen bed: 2 people, or 3 with added air mattress

Cabin, 1 queen & 1 futon: 4 people

Cabin with kitchenette, 1 queen bed, bunks: 4 people, or 5 with added air mattress

Cancellation Policy

No shows and reservations not canceled by deadlines will forfeit deposit.
(Required deposit is one night's stay for each room or site reserved):

--Individual reservations made prior to the season opening date must be canceled 14 days prior to arrival.

--Group reservations made prior to season opening date must be canceled 30 days prior to arrival.

--Individual reservations made after season opening date must cancel 2 days prior to arrival.

--Group reservations made after season opening date must cancel 14 days prior to arrival.

We are not responsible for weather, emergency, or any other occurrence that may cause customer to cancel. NO EXCEPTIONS.
